With the first quarter of the year coming to a close, I am excited about my new teammates, Davida and Deborah. Finding skilled people who are as passionate as I am about ALYN Hospital was challenging, but well worth the patience.
We are preparing for big things this year. We all want to see the Mitzvah of Love program in full bloom. There is so much further American Friend of ALYN Hospital can reach and we want to start with introducing attitudes of gratitude to a younger audience and give them the opportunity to raise funds and awareness for their peers at ALYN.
A couple of weeks ago, the first annual Heels of Love hiking event in Israel wrapped and year-one was an even bigger success than we had hoped. The pictures and hikers’ tales are as exciting as can be and we are already gearing up for the 2020 hike next February!
The biggest announcement for the year is: we are preparing for our milestone 20th-anniversary Wheels of Love ride. In preparation, I have been meeting and speaking to veteran riders to enhance your experience this year. One prominent thing we have been hearing is that you want to have one-day ALYN rides in your neighborhoods. We are working on making this happen and will keep you updated so you can ride with us when we’re in your city!
There is so much more to say, but let’s keep some of our surprises secret for now. If you have questions about the Mitzvah of Love program, Heels of Love hikes, our one-day rides or anything else, you should write to us at email@example.com.
We want to hear your ideas, your opinions and answer all of your questions. You, the donors, are important to us and we want to include you in the process as we continue to grow. Without you, we wouldn’t be where we are now; without you, we have no future. Thank you for all you have done and how you continue to support ALYN Hospital.
