At ALYN, people from diverse walks of life unite to offer unwavering support and transformative care. Witnessing the profound impact of ALYN's work is a privilege, as is meeting supporters from the United States who are drawn to its spirit through various paths, such as internships or the inspiring Wheels of Love bike ride. The American Friends of ALYN Hospital are dedicated to raising awareness and support, striving to engage the next generation and expand their outreach. We invite contributions and ideas from everyone to continue fostering meaningful change for ALYN's children and the broader world.
YOUNG LEADERSHIP UPDATE
Our young leadership program is making waves, and we're eager to share our latest triumphs with you. Last Wednesday, we collaborated with Chicago Chai, a vibrant community group, to host the Yom HaatzmaYACHT event in Chicago. This celebration of Yom Ha'atzmaut and Chicago Chai's anniversary drew a fantastic crowd of over 235 attendees, surpassing our previous NYC event.
PARC
The Helmsley Pediatric & Adolescent Rehabilitation Research Center (PARC) at ALYN Hospital focuses on enhancing the care and quality of life for young people with physical disabilities. It achieves this by evaluating the effectiveness of innovative treatment methods and ensuring the reliability and validity of new assessment tools to improve patient outcomes.
IN ISRAEL WITH ALYN
Are you looking for a way to fundraise for ALYN Hospital and go to Israel? You can ride a bike, you can take a hike for 3 days or one night.
This November will be our 25th Wheels of Love ride, and this past March was our 7th Heels of Love hike!
Last year, a night hike was added in mid-summer for people who do not have 2-3 days to hike and camp.
