A NOTE FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
As I sit to write this month’s article, I am struck by the approach of two seemingly different but yet, for me, related items in the calendar. The first is the rapid approach of Passover and the other is my first anniversary as the Executive Director of American Friends of ALYN Hospital.
DR. MAURIT BEERI’S VISIT TO AFAH
On March 11, 2024, Dr. Maurit Beeri, Director General of ALYN Hospital, met with a group of ALYN donors at the American Friends of ALYN Hospital in New York City. She spoke at length on the topic of “ALYN Hospital’s response to the challenges of the war – both internally and externally.”
RIDER SPOTLIGHT: BERNIE CORNICK
Nearly 15 years ago, Bernie Cornick sponsored a Wheels of Love cyclist. Five years later, in 2016, he was inspired and registered for his first ride. He has returned every year since and, in his words, “What can I say, I’m hooked!” We are spotlighting Bernie as both a committed cyclist and an avid fundraiser for ALYN Hospital.
WOL: USA Registration is Open and New This Year – a Family Event
Wheels of Love: USA is back this year – coming to the Princeton area on June 23, 2024. Registration is now open! In addition to our usual beautiful routes, we are excited to offer you our first WOL: USA Family Event – open to children (and adults) of all ages. If you don’t want to commit to the longer 35- or 62-mile routes, we invite you to bike or walk a 2.25-mile loop in the same park where the other routes begin – do one loop or do more!
