The physiotherapists of ALYN Hospital are constantly on the lookout for fun, creative ways to motivate the children to become active participants in their demanding rehabilitation programs. While physical therapy can be very challenging, ALYN’s rehabilitation experts know that if they can make the process fun and engaging, there is a higher probability of participation. In July, they organized a hospital-wide "Fun-Day" for the children, including stations in different parts of the hospital for dancing, arts & crafts and even an obstacle course. The children were delighted to have what they thought was a "break" from their rigorous routines, even though they were actually working almost as hard as they would in any physiotherapy treatment session!
