A NOTE FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
As I write this month’s update, I find myself overwhelmed with conflicting emotions. For months, we have been praying and advocating for the return of the hostages held in Gaza. We worried about how they and their families were enduring these unimaginable circumstances. We felt immense relief and joy for those who were released and reunited with their loved ones. Yet, we continued to hold our breath, hoping, praying, and advocating for those who remained captive.
YOUNG LEADERSHIP SHABBAT
On January 31st, AFAH hosted its first young leadership event in Manhattan, bringing together an incredible group for a meaningful and lively Shabbat experience. We partnered with Kibbutz NYC, a vibrant community group that organizes monthly Shabbat gatherings across the city, and we can’t thank them enough for their support in making this event a success.
