TEARING DOWN THE WALL
At the very beginning of the pandemic, ALYN Hospital had to construct a wall to isolate and protect its most vulnerable patients - children on respirators. This month, the children and staff celebrated a return to normalcy by physically knocking the wall down together. READ MORE
A MOTHER’S THANKS
We are always so moved when parents of children treated at ALYN Hospital share words of appreciation for the care provided by the staff. Raizy Wachsman, mother of Yitzhak, wrote two whole pages of thanks to the staff, detailing by name each person – from the security guards at the entrance to the executive management! PELE UPDATE
The PELE track of ALYN Hospital’s Innovation Space provides case-driven, personalized, affordable solutions for children and their families. The PELE team is constantly brainstorming to create assistive devices to help children with disabilities to be more independent in their daily lives and to be able to participate in more significant ways in educational and social activities. This month, we are highlighting a seat on wheels for toddlers with limited mobility and a Shabbat automatic turn-off switch for a beeping feeding machine. READ MORE
WHEELS OF LOVE: USA
HIGHLIGHTS VIDEO
Last month, we celebrated our inaugural US bike ride, Wheels of Love: USA, to benefit ALYN Hospital. The ride was a huge success: over 160 riders participated, raising over $130,000 for the children at ALYN who are all working hard towards their rehabilitation. Thank you to our cyclists, our volunteers, our logistics & support crews and to all the donors who helped make this a great event. Watch the highlights video HERE

A few weeks ago, we held our very first USA-based Wheels of Love ride. One of the many reasons the day was such a success was that we partnered with local cycling and triathlon coach, Mara Miller of Double Star Coaching.
