#MyALYNRide Teams

Due to COVID-19 and Israel’s Ministry of Health regulations, we cannot be in Israel this year to ride together on the Wheels of Love charity bike ride benefiting the children of ALYN Hospital. Instead, many of our riders joined our virtual option, #MyALYNRide, committing to a personal challenge while riding at home and in their communities, while continuing to fundraise for ALYN.

In the spirit of keeping the Wheels of Love family connected, two of our #MyALYNRide teams, the Grumpy Roadsters and Team Friends of Kevin, organized rides this past weekend to ride together as a community and raise funds for ALYN Hospital.

The Grumpy Roadsters and friends, headed by Team Captain Ed Joyce, rode for two days for a total of 80+ miles through the beautiful fall foliage of the Berkshires. Team Friends of Kevin, organized by Sandy Nissel-Horowitz and Tammy Bryk, set out for a metric century ride in Long Island in memory of fellow Wheels of Love cyclist and American Friends of ALYN board member, Kevin Leifer.

Both rides provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with Wheels of Love friends while benefitting the children at ALYN Hospital who are working hard toward rehabilitation. We are grateful to our team organizers, all the participants and all who have generously donated to Wheels of Love!
