American Friends of ALYN Hospital (AFAH) announces the Roee Negri Memorial Grant  - a tribute to the leadership and heroism displayed by IDF Major Roee Negri z”l, who was tragically killed in action on October 7. In life, Roee was a respected and beloved leader, an inspiration both to his troops as well as to his friends and family.

The Roee Negri Memorial Grant will cover the registration fee for the Wheels of Love charity bike ride (a value of $1,200), November 11-14 in Israel, benefitting ALYN Hospital, Israel’s premier pediatric rehabilitation facility.

Wheels of Love is one of Israel’s original charity rides, consisting of multiple routes at various distances and difficulty levels held over four days. The ride provides a unique opportunity to see the beautiful land of Israel while riding for a great cause. In 2024, we are celebrating our 24^th annual ride. (Please note that transportation costs are not included in the Award and there is a minimum fundraising requirement of $2,500).

We are accepting applications from U.S. and Mexican residents between the ages of 25-35 who have a demonstrated track record of leadership and community service, as well as a desire to participate in supporting ALYN as a healing place for children around the world.
